Anyone try it?
I’m giving it a go.
Think root growth is fascinating.
So far have 4 chain cactus started. Waiting to hopefully see roots within the first few weeks. If it works out I’ll try other plants I got.

It took over my aquarium. Looked really nice with the fish swimming through the roots and the ivy growing up the trellis behind the aquarium.
Oh wow!!! I hadn’t thought of that!!!!!!! I would TOTALLY be doing that! Did you just put the end in the aquarium and walk away? The fish should keep it nutritious and the filtration/aeration instead of changing the water weekly. Very good thinking!!! I’m really interested in this! Never heard that before

Havent you seen the fishbowls with plants' roots down in the water? The fighting betta fish apparently does well with it. I wouldn't know, but I know a couple people who have done this.
