haha
It's been sunny and 60's here all week until today. Started out sunny and warm, but clouded over and started raining mid day. Temps started dropping. Suppose to be in the 30's by morning and rain all weekend.
. thats what we had yesterday. it was 63. stuff to do inside for several hours, back out mid afternoon it was 47. we had ice this a.m.

snowed last night and this morning. only 30 degrees out. looking for freezing rain and freezing drizzle according to the weather service until 1am saturday and then just rain for the morning. snow and rain again on sunday. no sun until tuesday now

Next two nights will be -21 and -24. Guess it is time to finally break out the long johns. Yesterday I was wearing a t-shirt as it got to 28 degrees.

If the Canadians in Alberta would just turn off those fans it would not get so cold here.

today is a transition day from the snow yesterday to the snow coming sunday. The sun did come out for tiny bit this afternoon and most of the snow is gone. We got up to 44 today.
Tomorrow we're looking at snow with totals anywhere from 4-8 inches

First day we've had over 50 degrees in a long time, snow on the valley floor is almost all gone and the mountains are starting to get a lot of bare spots. We've been praying for snow in the surrounding mountains for our summer water supply and so far it looks good, this last snow we had was the heaviest one we've had for many years and being as it's been melting slowly, it's not just running off the surface but sinking into the ground and becoming part of the water shed. All great for trees, birds, animals and many of us in this valley that rely on springs for our water.
