Burrrrr, 70's also. Crazy heavy rain, small hail, lost electric for a bit!!! Doesn't look like it's moving much, wow!!
This is nuts, so much lightening, heavy rain! Backpacker, I wish I could send you some.
We got .29 overnight and another .16 this afternoon. Right at a half inch si center Friday. Better than nothing
And yet another day of rain here in Bama... We had 4 days without rain, the longest stretch since April I think.
100* and air index of 157 / unhealthy. Three more days of triple digits in the forecast.
Had errands in town this afternoon, it was brutal. Temp was only 95 but the humidity was 82%. Much over 80% and sweat slows/stops evaporating... The body's natural cooling system begins to break down.
Late afternoon thunderstorms are starting to pop up everywhere on the local weather radar. Yea! even higher humidity.

Hot and smokey. We are staying inside because it's so unhealthy. No fires close to us but the smoke is covering most of the state.
94 and 70% humidity. Not as bad as others, but it still sucks

hate that kind of weather. It is 92, sun sinking. 41% humidity. Thinking about watering the lawn since the bare areas of the yard are too dusty. It hasn't rained here for a few.
Last evening I went to the backyard munching a crunchy crispy graham cracker, out there less than a minute, walked through the house, out the front door to check on the windows and doors of the car, approaching the front door realized my cracker was now kind of limp.
That was weird.
Had an unusually cool day today.
Our "daily rinse" was way early at 10AM instead of after 1PM.
The sun never came out and I don't think we even broke above 85.
Typical for our August is 95-98+. (remember, we were the ones condemned to burn in hell

I thought about calling Al Gore for a refund.

Arizona has a lot of deserts. It gets really hot out there. That's normal. No problem.
But driving Seattle rioters indoors from high temps

It was so hot here the rottweiler didn't even feel like beating up the cat today.
Same as yesterday, hot but even more smoke.
Supposed to be this way until Monday.

Another day with temps in the 90's and humidity in the 80's.
Today the high temp is supposed to be around 70°, so 15-20° lower than it's been in a couple weeks. I'm thrilled!
Rain along and just South of the Red River, personally hope it stays there. Sticky outside now, maybe a summer 'cold front' for N Tx!!
