It rained over night, got about a half inch. Over cast right now, cool. Leaves are dropping.
We got .68". Most of our leaves are barely turning. Popular had a small early drop but now are still green. Looking like a late fall. Or a hard one all at once
The dreary day didn't end... They just issued a flash flood warning for the area. A light rain started as I left town, nothing serious. I guess folks just up the road got torrential rains. It's started to really pick up here, got soaked taking the trash can down to the road for tomorrow.

Had some bad storms about an hour west of us. Tornado watch for over and hour. 1 to 3 inches of rain. Flash flood watch till morning. Cane up out of Alabama

It was sunny here today. So far tonight's severe weather is tracking east of me. Hope it stays that way, bad tired tonight. I do not want to spend the evening watching weather radars.

This is a NWS tweet from this morning... 2 dead in Bham, 2 missing elsewhere. I didn't get 10 inches of rain thankfully.
We had a good storm roll thru a little after 5pm. Don't think we got quite an inch. There is another larger cell behind it should be on us within the hour.
