does anyone know what these are called? there's no label or what ever on the backs of them.i've been searching the web and all..but to no avail.

I would call them........."Round ceramic art dish thing'ies" that you hang on the wall to cover bullet holes.

cant be coins.their for hanging on the wall..and their between 50 to 100 years old..if i figure right on their age..

jimLE, I see the small loop that looks like they are to be worn as a necklace pendant. Or is that something to hang them with for a wall ornament? It is hard to tell what size they are.
hang from the wall.in some situations.two on each side of a painting.

I would think those are art from back in the day when people were educated about the Ancient Greek gods or other antiquities.
I believe they actually represent Faith, Hope, Charity and Humility. Not gods or goddesses but the attributes of Christianity.
I think they are early hanging targets. Want me to stop over and show you how they work?

What are they made from? They look like they are brass. And are those Greek gods and goddesses?
Maybe you need to bring them to Antiques Roadshow.

The photos have a symbolism or represent something. I just cannot see them well enough to see what they are. Are the plates metal, as in brass? The one in the upper left hand side looks like it might be the Greek God, Pan, but I cannot tell clearly. To the left of it might be Demeter, the goddess of agriculture.
