Grilled pork chops and cheesy vegetables (carrots, broccoli, cauliflower, and zucchini).
Roast beef sandwiches.

I made lots of Asian meals last week . Stir fry and fried rice. It was good.
Fish, greens & pickles
I'm planning on having baked fish, buttered noodles ( hubby's fave), steamed broccoli today
Mince and vegetable stir fry and tinned fruit for dessert.
Hey WV dragonlady, we're having buttered noodles tonight, too. Also a green salad with shredded chicken, cauliflower with cheese sauce, and steak/veg kabob
I am making Chicken Tortilla Soup, only instead of using tortilla chips we take low carb tortillas, wipe them with olive oil, sprinkle them with salt, and bake them until they are crispy. We also add a little hominy and black beans, along with lots of chicken, bell peppers, jalapeno peppers, onion, cilantro, and eventually Monterrey jack cheese.
Cheese steaks and oven fries
Making our own pizzas
Leftover pizza, side salad, diet pepsi
Dinner was thawed in the fridge ready to go. Everyday this week the heat index has been over 100.
I didn't want to heat up the kitchen so I went and had a nice rib-eye steak at the restaurant down the road, yummy!
Creamy chicken, cheese, and vegetables soup. Been in the slow cooker most of the day on low, just need to add the veggies and cook another 3 hours or so.
Bacon, eggs over easy, fried potatoes, whole wheat toast, coffee
I was going to have a frozen pizza but it turned out the pizza had been in the freezer about 2 months to long.
I had a peanut butter and fig preserve sandwich instead… Now I’m trying to survive the sugar rush!
Fig preserve is my favorite! No one else here likes it. Too bad.
We had barbeque chicken, mac and cheese, cantaloupe, and fresh green beans.
@Amish Heart I love figs from the tree and preserves. Especially preserves on biscuits at breakfast but I will take a PB&F in a pinch!
Me, too, Peanut. I was just talking about this to my daughter yesterday. Saw the tiniest little figs at our local grocery for $3.99 a lb. I remember being able to pick and eat them, the big ones, from our neighbor's tree when I was growing up in California. Sadly, we don't have those kinds of trees here. But I always get fig jam.
Gonna throw some pinto beans in the crock pot, along with some onions, bell pepper, a couple chopped jalapenos, mushrooms, and a chunk of ham, let 'em slow cook all day...up until maybe 5-6 PM. Make some cornbread to go with it.
Winter stew, green salad, and cornbread
Chili dogs on a plate.
Look what I found for dessert at a little produce stand this afternoon!
I can't remember the last time I had grapes so fresh they are still on the clusters... yummy!
I have the same salt and pepper tupperware shakers! lol
Yesterday we had baked cod, mac and cheese and peas and carrots
Today I'm making a taco impossible pie ( basically a bisquick quiche lol)
Me too but there orange.
Chicken burritos and Spanish rice
There are 3 bedrooms in the downstairs Duplex where my grandparents lived. When I moved in around 2000 a lot of my grandmother’s kitchen items were still here including Tupperware salt & pepper shakers.
The pepper shaker was sort of a dark blue color and the salt shaker was semi-clear. They were coated with 30 years of kitchen grease and grime. There was no cleaning them. I tried every cleaner imaginable. I even let them soak in bleach a few days to no avail. However, the stand/holder did clean up nicely.
I had a cousin order me new shakers and a few other things… I use the new shakers with the old stand. I sort of like the green color. I’ve never seen orange shakers.
Think I'll make another pot of Brunswick Stew! I'll freeze some of this batch to thaw out when I don't feel like cooking.
Cream chicken, mushroom, bacon, and thyme with garlic mashed cauliflower.
