we're into "batch" cooking, we have a slow cooker, we cook off a large pot of whatever then after we have eaten the meal for the day the rest is cooled, poured off into various containers and frozen.
when we want to eat them they only have to be reheated, maybe 10minutes in a saucepan.
 
Bacon wrapped little smokies and chopped veggie salad (think coleslaw only with chopped cauliflower, broccoli, carrots, celery, and radishes instead of cabbage).
 
Yesterday we had pasta with a meat sauce. Hubby was selling his 1955 dump truck and it was easy to reheat it for him when he got home

Today I'm baking some chicken legs, baked potatoes and canned beets
 
Crustless chicken pot pie, so basically chicken pot pie in a slow cooker scooped onto a plate. I never liked the crust anyway. :)
Nice try, without a crust that would be called........"stew."
