Figure 15 million dead in America.......with roughly 85 percent of those in urban and suburban environments.

Those are funny joke numbers...........would they be taking the actions that they are taking......if those silly numbers were real authentic numbers....??? They have a massive true SHTF disaster, that just started. They will be very lucky if only five or ten million die from this.

You see what action they are doing........given that this (in theory) just started three weeks ago......???
America is also fudging the numbers.

You don't lock down 39 MILLION people and quarantine cities with an 11 MILLION population for 41 dead and 1,200 cases......there is something VERY WRONG with this picture! Please, please, please, do not let this thing get a toe hold in the "homeless" population of the West Coast. We'd be looking at SHTF for sure.

I’ve been saying that as well. Seems something is off in this.
There’s no way with as large of an Asian population in LA and SF that it won’t take hold. It’s going to happen.

Not to seem like a heartless monster, but sometimes these things happen because natural selection decided it was time to go from 1st gear to 2nd. The weakest among us often being the primary target. And large camps of the weakest society has to offer being very easy pickings. In the same way forest fires are often horrible and destructive, but they are also a part of nature that clears out the clutter, destroys invasive weeds, breaks down the nutrients, and prepares the area to grow back stronger and healthier.
 
Folks should maybe keep in mind that, so far at least, the disease has not been very deadly. The cities with large homeless populations should concern us though, because those folks are apt to be in a 'diminished state of health', and so more vulnerable - and en-mass could act as an incubator for more deadly mutations of the virus.

And that's my Word of Cheer for today.

How do you "Know" that........??? I can't trust my own Government to tell the truth, I sure as hell don't expect the truth from a communist country. They could have eighty thousand dead.
 
and lets.not forget the one's that have a roof over their head and a bed to sleep in.at least some folk's if not most.have a low immune system for one reason or another.

May not like it but this is true. They say this kills the eldely and the very young first.
I worry about my kids,grands and hope it is not as bad as they are saying it is.
 
With a two week incubation period, my guess is this thing is spreading exponentially in China. How many people can one person infect in two weeks? t50, 100, 200? One week you have 100 cases, two weeks later you have 10,000 cases. Not good when a long incubation period is involved.
