@Amish Heart glad your DH is doing well and is home that would be such a relief and I would have been watching him like a hawk too. Your DH will be in our prayers.

While we are all on the subject of health it appears so far that from my first round of health checks I am the right weight for height and my BMI falls within healthy levels, my blood pressure is low (always has been but it is even lower now) so they told me I am not going to die of a heart attack anytime soon, I am a neat 2" shorter in height, and they flushed out one of my ears and boy I think I can hear an ant crawling even now kind of must have been rather deaf before 
.
They took round 2 of blood and this time we created a brand new file for me so I don't have to go back again. They are testing me for blood sugars, iron levels, and Q Fever as I used to work in a butcher shop and anything else I think.
Going back for a human plumbing check next week and next month they are taking off some growths and taking a biopsy of two suspected skin cancers on my leg, the joys of being a fair skinned redhead.
Doing well so far .

I would gladly give you some of ours, my tractor needs floats instead of tires here in east TN! Getting hard to feed the cattle without getting stuck and I have a 4wd!
My day started out crappy, literally. I didn’t sleep well, the last time I went back to bed was around 4:30. I flushed the toilet first. It over flowed. I spent the next 20 minutes cleaning the bathroom, nothing like the smell of clorox in the morning!
I printed out a note with big letters and left it on Dad’s kitchen table… “Do not flush your toilet… There is something wrong with the pipes or septic tank”! (The house is a duplex, 3 bdrm 2 bath upstairs, 3 bdrm 1 bath downstairs.)
When he got up he dealt with it, called a septic tank pumping company. The tank had gotten clogged with TP and grease somehow.
When I got up at noon I booted my computer, only it didn’t boot (still under warranty). I called a friend who looked up the Dell tech support number. I was on the phone with them for an hour. They finally corrected the problem. I hate win10, it has automatic updates enabled. My computer tried to do an update from Dell when I booted and got hung up.
The part of the day I saw was nasty, miserable and raining (not to far from homesteader33). The only highlite was dinner, a nice ribeye.

Monday we are picking up our cow (meat) from the slaughter house! FRESH STEAKS are only a few days away!
Nothing like good beef. I used to live in Manchester TN, for a couple of years (a strange little town). You're north of there I think.
I don't trust any of the processors around here... I've heard too many of the same stories... Take in Grade A prime beef and get some else's sick stringy old cow in return..

My living granny is 96 with dementia. Her nine living children take care of her and pay for a nurse to take care of her during the day. One of her children stays with her the other 16 hours. It's not an easy thing. My great grammy was in a nursing home in the 70's and 80's but 2 of her daughters and 3 of her grandchildren worked there... she was well looked after.

Hello everyone and on to what we have done today .
We started off the morning with DH putting on a load of washing and hanging it on the clothes line and after that I hand watered some of the front and one side of house paddock lawns. I then deep cleaned the bathroom and toilet for the week and DH vacuumed the whole house. DH then washed the dishes and cleaned the benches and I dried them and put them away.
Then we went into the kitchen and noticed we have an ant plague so we set about washing and wiping over with hot soapy water then neat vinegar all the walls, ceilings, honey containers on the counter, the storage honey container with a gate, and all of the other food storage containers where the ant trails were and part of the floors too. Ugh just found another trail of them heading into the ceilings that DH has just wiped another section of the kitchen wall over with. Just so everyone knows neat vinegar deters the little suckers as they don't like the smell of it.
Waiting on our large grocery delivery of our bulk pantry staples and then we will put it away in storage containers. Still got to fold up two loads of washing and put them away and make the bed later this evening.

Hashbrown, that's a great T-shirt your wife is wearing, if my wife was wearing one like that she would attest to me being an AH, as it is when someone asked my neighbor about me he told them I was a loose cannon, I like that because I think it tends to keep people guessing as to what I might do if someone messed with me.

For real! The Tennessee River is normally about 1/4 mile from my house. Now it's on the back part of my property! I had surveyors confirm I was out of the flood zone a few months ago so I should be good. @phideaux needs to shut some of those gates on the river in Kentucky! Com'on Jim! Work with me here! Lol

@gumpy us redheads are rare indeed. It is also true that we or at least I do have a redhead temper too although I am mellowing as I get slightly older .

PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT: If you can avoid it, DO NOT USE "HughesNet" for your ISP. Pess had HughesNet installed because MediaCom does not serve the area to which he moved. BAD NEWS!!! He is now getting XFinity (Comcast subsidiary). HughesNet is the absolute worst ISP either of us has ever experienced...drops the connection at least 6 - 8 times an HOUR, and you have to reset your wi-fi adapter each time. PITIFUL service.
I’ve had Hughes net for 10 years now. The only time service drops is during a thunderstorm. I lose my satellite tv at the same time. Other than that, I get great service.
The only problem I’ve had with the company was a few years ago. Once a year I update all my software and I would get close to my usage limit for the month. They would slow down my service on purpose wanting me to upgrade to a faster package. The Feds fined them for that so it doesn’t happen anymore.
There is another satellite internet package available to me. It’s through my satellite tv provider, dish network. They lease satellite time from Hughes… 6 of one, half dozen of the other. I used to have dialup here. That company went out of business so my only option is satellite.
My only complaint if I had one today is communication. Hughes net customer service is in India. If I call them with an issue I have to enunciate clearly and be careful of the terminology I use… Yesterday when I called Dell tech support, it’s in the Philippines, go figure...
I’m happy with Hughes net.
