We’re in a heatwave so definitely will have to check everyone soon and water the garden this evening. Can’t wait to see how bad the neighbor will be tonight. Will be calling the sheriff at 10 pm on the dot if he starts in. Still disappointed they didn’t even ask him about his targeted screaming or anything.

Exactly! Something this bad... I'd set up a camera w/audio, record everything going on for several days. I'd burn it to thumb drives and mail it to every elected official in the county and their staffs along with a letters of explanation.

I'd do it every couple of days until someone solved the issue. The squeaky wheel gets the grease. If for no other reason they'll do something about it just to shut you up. They will do nothing unless it's in their face every couple of days. Get a bunch of people involved and someone will come up with an idea that'll put a stop to this nonsense.
 
I am working on my pasture sprinklers. I have 32 sprinkler heads and I have to repair at least 4 every week.
I got a good deal on brass impact sprinkler heads ($5 each) but it may not be such a good deal after all. Seems like most of them will not rotate with my water pressure. I am seriously thinking about going to popup sprinklers in the pasture so maybe the cows won't break them off.
The bottom line is it looks like a lot of digging up water lines and replacing heads. That job will have to wait a few days because we are supposed to get into the hundreds for the next 2 or 3 days.

We put up security camera so I can see around the house at night now. They do have audio and the last two nights I’ve been both recording on my phone when not on it with my husband or in the house and the cameras are recording and I go back and get clips of his screaming. Can’t see him as there’s a tree line between us but the camera picks him up very well when he’s screaming.

The cameras we put up are now catching it. Not all of it completely clear as he’s a little ways away but definitely enough to “show” what he’s doing and some of his cussing fits are very clear. In just two nights he’s made a pretty good case against himself being reasonable. That’s for sure. I was even able to prove this morning that he does do it at 4 in the morning like I’ve been saying thanks to the cameras. This was even after the second sheriff visit. (full story in rant thread)

Do you know his name, if so you could make a post to U-tube or something, sort of a greatest hits type of thing....
 
Taking a break from the up and down basements thing. I talked little granddaughter into helping for awhile, and she was entertaining. A neighbor just brought by a strawberry cream cheese pie and so we just finished off the one the other neighbor brought by a few days ago. Strawberries are in season right now, and everyone is making pies!

lol I will when the sheriff report is posted. He got his information last night so I could do the restraining order if I choose to. Do they allow crazy rants and cussing on Tube? Some of these involve the n word.
 
I weeded the strawberries yesterday. Took less time than the last so i am gaining on them. The strawberries are filling in nicely.

Today we returned to fencing project.

Technically the replacement is complete but we still have supplies to add three more sections. My brother wants to extend the the fence but The Princess is gun shy that the local revenewers will want to fine us. We have couple of days of rain coming so I don't have to decide until Saturday.

Took mom for her bloodwork this morning.
Friend showed up with the guy to work on the yard. Tree is dragged out. Their weedeater ran out of wire so I popped in to the store while still in town and got more. Trash has been burned. Supposed to be back tomorrow for more work. Only put in 3 hrs today. They spent awhile (off the clock) going through the car port to look for any weedeater wire and found a bunch of stuff in packaging that had never been opened (but not the right size). They've offered to come organize it and intend to cut off the bent/broken metal parts of the car port so we can fix it up. Also discussed pulling the broken fence posts out where the tree fell and removing some of the useless fencing.
Picked up mail and cooked for Mom. Currently resting and it looks like it's going to rain.

How many? 😂

Not a bad day all up with the exception that I found out a HS classmate took his own life. There were only 17 in our graduating class so even though I hadn't seen him for a while was still pretty sad news to me.
Tomorrow is supposed to be a scorcher (102*) so I've watered well and have it going still. Also doing the whole open things up at night then in the morning, go around and close everything up and draw the curtains etc. We have AC and will leave it on a higher temp tomorrow because if the house gets too warm, it takes forever to cool down enough to sleep.

Ohh heck no. Apple is no better than Windoze I am finding after having dug into them. They might give a bit more privacy related protections but while more stable are just as bad it seems. Linux, which if I am correct Apple is based upon, is more stable and far less intrusive from what I can tell. Who knows; they are all in it for the money so I am not sure on much other than open source and even that is questionable.
 
Put my uniform back on for the weekend services.
Then there was my Dad.
Still working on the problem that was inherited when my parents bought the house 20 years ago.
Told new Sheriff in no uncertain terms "Heck No, he wasn't digging up my Dad's back yard.
Put my uniform back on to take care of that little problem.
Watched the Sheriff turn pasty, pale, sickly looking when I answered the front door at my Dad's house.
I do say 3 Deputies, 2 State Patrol officers, 2 FBI Officers and 1 Psychic were impressed with my uniform.
And I was armed also, the FBI officers told the new Sheriff I outranked them.
They left the new sheriff hanging.
My little brother and youngest sister, all three nephews were impressed too.
I clean up good on occasion.
Besides that will be moving my dad in the near future.
Haven't a clue as to where as of yet.
He put his house on the market 5 days ago.
He has an offer already.
Sale pending.

Arguing with almost 16 yr old granddaughter that her "field and track" clothes are not daily wear. Track season is over. No more short shorts, tanks tops that show a bit of sports bra. Nope. I made her change this morning before driver training, and just warned her about what she's wearing before she went to bed. She is very annoyed with me now. Oh well.

Good for you AH! There were multiple times when I was in the schools, young gals would be "testing". I offered that they should keep in mind what they are advertising.
 
I feel her pain being raised by an old conservative mennonite granny. That's not so fun for a nearly 16 year old. We have always outlawed yoga pants. Didn't think I'd have to talk about track outfits. People around here (neighbors and relatives) stop by unannounced often. I cringe when I think of someone seeing her dressed like a hoochie mama.

Bodies of some ladies that went missing over 40 years ago.
I just read the "Cold Case Files" last week.
They lived in the house my parents bought 20 years ago.
Every time we get a new Sheriff, who's hot to trot to solve the old case file.
No interviews were conducted on prime suspect.
No interviews were conducted on the children still remaining in the house.
No crime scene photos, no nothing done to protocol.
But you can bet your a** the "good ole boy network" was working that week.
Told New Sheriff if he wanted to go dig up something.
Go dig up the water plant that was being built about the time the two ladies disappeared.
Filed a restraining ordered against New Sheriff for harassment against my dad.
 
This morning I got up at 04:00, decided to be bad and slipped out to Mickey D's for breakfast... I have a call this morning at 07:00 with some folks across the pond on work related things.

Went out and checked the garden this morning as the sun came up, for something so small there is a lot packed in there.

I have lots of little grapes showing, I need to figure out how to protect them, last year they all disappeared before I could get a single one.

My plum trees in the yard are loaded this year, so I am looking forward to them becoming editable.....

The wife got 2 more curtain panels completed yesterday, I washed the rest of her fabric last night. So between quilt, pillows, pillow shams, new sheets, new dust ruffle, shears, new curtains, and a new recliner, I think she has everything (or has it on order) to complete her bedroom remodel.... I hope......
