I see no reason not to watch his movies. But I won't pay to watch his movies. Not watching his movies gains you nothing and deprives him of nothing. But watching, without paying, ... that's a different story for him.

So don't buy that DVD, borrow it from the library instead. Or search out an MP4 copy of it online for free. While I used to be strongly against viewing pirated copies of movies, these days, with the likes of Jackson and De Niro, I am willing to turn a blind eye to piracy of their works. Doesn't mean that I condone it, just that I would not go out of my way to preach against it or try to stop it. It's their problem, not mine.

Several years ago, I used to take it on as my problem as well, and speak out against those who made pirated copies available. But those days are now gone, as these actors spout off nastily against me and my beliefs. If someone wanted to see a Michael Moore movie (why?) and I knew the URL to a pirated copy, I would not hesitate one microsecond to give that URL to someone I knew. I wouldn't post up the pirated copy myself, or give the URL to a ton of unknown people. But as far as I'm concerned these days, you can deal with your own problems now, loser actors and directors!

OH I would so love to spread this to at least the folks who eat tide pods and such! You know it would spread rapidly. I would love to watch one try that.

My dad backed a bush hog over a hornets nest one day when I was a teen and just happened to see it when he hit it. He jumped off the tractor and took off running. I couldn't figure out why right then, but he told me what happened and we watched the tractor run til dark. They covered a green Duetz and made it look black from a distance, The hornets finally left and we were able to go shut down the bush hog and take the tractor back to the barn. It set there and ran all afternoon. Dad did have presence of mind to drop the engine speed to idle as he was jumping off the tractor. Just not time to kick the PTO out of gear and shut down the bush hog.
