    26' chicken coop and tractor

That looks like solid work. 26' is long but it will turn once I have the hitch bolted to it. It will eventually have nice tin on both roofs and will be painted. I have an old school arr projecter so I plan on projecting and hand painting signs on the sides like Maxwell House and Pep Feed.

One 4'x8" sheet of 3/8" or even 1/4" plywood ripped in to four 2"x 4' sheets. Cut one 2"x 2"x 8' firing strip in to 2'long four pieces. Screw it all together. I always have scrap lumber laying around Soni added a perch for a cockerel

    26' chicken coop and tractor

I do free range them. This is so I can occasionally direct them to eat and poop in specific areas. The, "commercial versions" are so expensive for the same reason a lot of other stuff is, yuppies and hipsters. I mean even at my COUNTRY feed store, they're selling tiny little chicken coops for...

    Welcome Home

Next time you brude, hit me up for the design I came up with for bruder boxes. I use one sheet of 3/8" plywood and one 2"x2" firing strip. it's great because it's super light and bottomless. I can keep them in at night and put them out on grass during the day when they're old enough. The whole...

    26' chicken coop and tractor

So it's finished enough for the birds to be in it. I just need to source four more kids bicycle wheels and install them all. It will eventually have eight wheels attached to spring loaded caster frames.

    What's everybody doing today?

I've been so busy I haven't been able to be on the forum is a couple of days. I finally finished my big 26' double chicken coop/tractor yesterday so today I have to mow. I'm hoping to get the four acres in front of the house done today.

    Home schooling

Recess during home schooling is even more important than when they're in regular school. When mine start getting wrestles, I send them behind the house to the creek.

Post A Photo, A Real Photo

I don't know, I've seen plenty of trees growing around T posts, cannon balls and bumper once. Trees do weird things. This one is behind my house. That's a tree growing around about a hundred year old fence post.

Awesome pic. My family used to own a ranch outside of Liberty Hill Texas, about 35 miles West of Jarrell TX. There was a massive F5 tornado in Jarrell in 1997 that killed 28 people and nearly destroyed the entire town. Some time around 2005 I found a Chevy Love pickup truck back in our woods...

Funny story about Kentucky. A 90 year old woman from West Virginia was hospitalized after a fall. After several days recovering, she was ready to be released. While signing all of her paperwork, the nurse asked her how her stay was. The patient replied that she had never felt in better hands...

    What's everybody doing today?

It's planting day. I have to make the hour drive to my farming partners place. We've already put in our 36 tomato plants, 60 feet of broccoli, about 1000 sf of taters and thirty pepper plants. Today is squash, zucchini, two kids of bush beans, two kinds of cucumbers, cabbage, lettuce, collards...
