I really love the way the news tweaks headlines.
So you can't believe Great Britain didn't lift a finger when:
Iran releases video of masked commandos rappelling onto seized British oil tanker
The Brits had battleships all over the area.
So what gives?

If you dig deeper...
1. The oil in the tanker was the only thing "British" on it. They had bought the oil payable due on delivery.
2. There were no British citizens on board. The crew members mostly are from Mumbai.
Stena Bulk said:
"Erik Hanell, President and Chief Executive, Stena Bulk, said: “There are 23 seafarers onboard of Indian, Russian, Latvian and Filipino nationality. There have been no reported injuries and the safety and welfare of our crew remains our primary focus. We are in close contact with both the UK and Swedish government authorities to resolve this situation and we are liaising closely with our seafarers’ families.”
3. The tanker is owned and operated by an international shipping company based in Sweden, not Britain. It's not 'British' at all.

The second thing, Iran can't even ship it's own oil out to ANYBODY!
What are they going to do with another tanker full of oil?
Nothing.

Us swallowing propaganda, disgusting:vomit:.

Good topic for discussion.

And if it is not British at all what does British flagged mean ? Never mind, here's the answer. See legal context and the next one down after that.

Seems like one tanker was British flagged and the other tanker involved was British owned.

Article below, is this propaganda also.

What about this incident ?

Discussion is good.
You have to be careful when an article begins with the word "OPINION". Put that word on top and anything goes.
If you follow the link in the article you find this:
Washington Examiner said:
"Within two hours the Mesdar {the British owned one} was released with a warning about maritime regulations. Its transponder was turned back on and tracking data shows that it is heading away from where it was previously seized."
Of course, this is never mentioned in the news:bang Head:. It doesn't fit their agenda.
Basically it's about the same as our Coast Guard guys boarding a foreign ship in international waters to search it. Just harassment.

The South Korea thing; disputed airspace. Japan says it's their airspace, SK calls it their "air defense identification zone", and Russia believes it to be international airspace.
Since all 3 countries have their own different map, it's inevitable for conflicts to occur.
I can understand SK being twitchy with a Russian heavy bomber off of their coast:eek::

Especially since the Russians raised the stakes for wandering off course pretty high with this:
Military Times said:
"In 1983, a Soviet air force fighter jet fired an air-to-air missile at a South Korean passenger plane that strayed into Soviet territory, killing all 269 people on board."
I'm surprised that SK only fired warning-shots at the bomber (if they did). SK says yes, Russia says: no or we would have blown them out of the sky.
