Is anyone interested in the candy recipes I have made for class so far.
Let me know and I will post a few of ones that are Estelle approved.
Sure, I love to drool on recipes :)

Okay, I will start posting tomorrow.
I will be putting these candy recipes i the grandchildren's recipe books.....
Granny's Favorite Recipes.
My mother typed ( as in using a typewriter) her favorites in a book for each us. The Princess uses it regularly.

I am printing the recipes out on 4 x 6 lined index cards.
These will go into picture sleeves, then into photo album.
Hope to get pictures of each helper helping me make these recipes too.

i had an electric typewriter in college. I used it to type my Montessori manuals, research papers, etc. By the time I finished college, that typewriter was worn out. It was used when it was given to me, so it wasn't exactly all my doing.

One year I bought three wooden recipe card boxes for each of our daughters. I wrote out recipes to fill each box...each box had the daughter's favorite recipes. Wrote the cards by hand. Because I have some of my grandma's and mom's recipes written by hand, and I like to see their handwriting.

I did that for my nieces last Christmas and also did family recipes. It’s a lot of writing 😂.

Mound Bars
In medium mixing bowl, combine coconut and sweeten condensed milk.
It will be sticky, so wet your hands with cold water.
Work mixture into logs, but I roll mine into small balls instead.
You will need to rinse hands a couple of times.
Place logs or balls onto parchment paper lined cookie sheet and freeze for 20 minutes.
I use dark almond bark or chocolate chips for my melted chocolate.
Melt about 10 ounces of chocolate in microwave for 30 seconds.
Stir well continue to microwave in 15 second increments until chocolate is completely melted. Stir well between cooking times. You have to add more melted chocolate as needed.
Using forks dip each bar or ball in the chocolate until completely covered. Allow excess chocolate to drip off.Place the chocolate bars or balls back on parchment paper and allow them to rest until chocolate is set.
Storage of Mounds Bars or ball airtight container.
They will stay fresh at room temperature for up to five days.
Makes 12 Mounds Bars.

Cinnamon Sugar Nuts
I use a variety of nuts: hazelnuts, almonds, walnuts etc.
1 pound of Almonds( or any kind you prefer)
1 cup sugar
1 tbsp ground cinnamon
2 tsp of vanilla extract(again I make my own).
1 egg white
1/2 tsp salt
2 tablespoon of water
Preheat oven to 250*
Line cookie sheet with parchment paper.
I place all ingredients into gallon ziplock type bag.
Close and shake throughly.
Place on parchment paper spread out.
Place in oven to caramelize.
Stir every so often.
Let cool for 10 minutes.
Store in air tight container.

Gumdrops
2 cups of sugar(plus little bit to roll gum drops in later).
1 1/3 cups of unsweetned applesauce
2 small boxes (3 ounces) of any flavor jello
2 envelopes of unflavored gelatin(like Knox)
1 teaspoon lemon juice.
Line 13x9 pan with parchment paper
In large saucepan combine all ingredients, let stand 1 minute.
Bring to boil over medium hear, stirring constantly, boil 1 minute
Immediately pour into prepared pan
Place into refrigerator for 3 hours or until set
Loosen sides with spatula
Turn Gum Drops onto cutting board
Cut Gum drops using knife dipped in hot water to cut into squares, or use cookie cutters.
Roll Gum Drops into extra sugar, set onto wax paper until slightly dry.
Store in air tight container.
Enjoy

He's not any worse than any other males I have known.
Actually he's pretty tame compared to some other males I have known.
But his mother and wife might have something to do with that.
Actually you'd be surprised how bad I can be. I'm surprised my mom didn't kick my butt years ago.
