We are expecting about 20 new active members. I joined in Dec. ’17. Sixteen of the top 20 posters here joined in Dec. ’17, and that is by no means even close to the number of members that moved over here in one big flush. We have absorbed more active members here at one time than we will on this merger.
I came here thinking that I would be a positive influence and a benefit to this site. I know most of my fellow PS expats were. We either grow or die. People move away or move on, that is the way things are. We’ve had more than a couple great members pass away. As a whole, these are great people. Please help them fit in and feel welcome

Were the insults from our members helpful? We stand to gain more than we loose. Both sides are rattled by this. They are being told that their home is being torn down, without their input, and that all their furniture will be moved to a new home already populated by strangers. We are being told that about 20 experienced preppers will be posting along with us.

Holy Sheep! That's them. At least my 'nickname' isn't a name I've used as a username'. I'm sill unidentifiable.

Mongo was the drummer back then, I just knew them by happenstance but helped them... somehow paths crossed occasionally from there.

If you read the comments.... I'm not Rick. My story and sticking to it. But, reading that kinda brought chills.

i used to make rocket fuel like that
Now I am into taste and smoothness
Blend that 150 to 80/100
Put it in a bottle with some charred oak and let it age

So anyway and moving on: Since I registered at DPF 48 hours ago.... I still don't have sufficient privileges to post there.

Oldways sent me a welcome a message... I replied a few minutes ago being straight-up with him saying I was looking to get know future friends and comment about the merger (paraphrasing).

It was a reply to Swing's welcome message here that turned out to be a good conversation. Will be interesting to see if I get a reply from Oldways at DPF.
