I did my husbandly duty, and sat outside (in freezing weather) to keep my wife company while she passed out candy. We did have quite a few Trick-or-Treaters, but after two hours I had all the fun I could stand. It was refreshingly pleasant to see how polite the kids were. Very mannerly, everybody saying "Thank You" and "Happy Halloween".

We had several kids come by and they were all polite and properly in costume. Then again, we know them all from around the neighborhood. But we had far fewer than we have had in years past.

I have a lot of leftover candy in case any of you would like some.
