I am in the valley on the far left in the photo. The photo is from across Turnagain Arm. From "Bird Point". A lady and "dog" had a SHTF fatal experience over there. Woman struck, killed by train near Bird Point along Seward Highway (alaskasnewssource.com)

Wow - with the green-roofed pavilions and mountains behind water that could be a picture of any number of parks in Utah, like this one I drive by all the time:

That body of water is essentially not navigable. It has the second highest tides on Earth. Bay of Fundy has the highest. Turnagain Arm, essentially drains twice a day.

LOL - and Deer "lake" (really a reservoir) in my picture is the exact opposite. It was made for recreation. Drive buy on a nice day and the number of boats and ski-dos out there gets crazy! I think I'd prefer to be in the woods off a non-navigable body of water. Sounds like it's be a lot more peaceful
