Anyone have recipes for .....homemade electrolyte POWDER..... ?? This MUST be a powder recipe...

One that I have found I will try..
For 1 gallon water..
Lemon Aid, Tang, or other flavoring powder for 1 gallon of water
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/8 teaspoon Kosher salt
Mix well, better if chilled...

Is there homemade recipes for something like powdered ...hay makers punch... ??
Any suggestions appreciated..
Thanks...

I got some for animals. I do know my Hunny had issues calling me while on the road complaining of leg cramps. I had pickle jiuce waiting for him to drive thru. He got dehyrated mowing down at the beach property. He tends to work and not get enough to drink. Maybe your problem? There are many human recipes available on a search but I can not verify any of them.

There are actually a couple other threads about this. If you read through them you will see some recipes and advice. I am someone who really needs my electrolytes replenished when I get hot and sweaty.

From everything that I have searched and used, they are all dry ingredients, until you add water. It would be a good thing to have in bug out bags. Koolaid packets, the dry ones without added sugar are what I consider a good base for it.
