Just an indication of the state of our public schools...armed officers on duty!

The question to ask yourself is, "WHY are armed officers needed at all?" And in most urban public schools, the answer is very simple....minority crime, violence, and drugs.

We have armed guards at our Social Security office. Not sure what they're protecting.
Of course we need them at public schools. Better than hide and throw staplers at bad guys.

Mobile County has armed officers in ALL gov't offices, the public schools, and most large supermarkets and other large retailers. Armed robbery seems to be a "sport" in Mobile.
