That lemonade stand thing was stupid. Lots of Amish kids plant roadside gardens to sell produce. A relative of mine's kids planted tons of tomatoes last year and made a good deal of money selling those.

Oh, I forgot to mention- when you spoke of the work parties: on the ranch, at branding time everyone helped each other. Whoever was hosting the branding fed the crew. It was usually a long days work but one everyone looked forward to it. No pay is exchanged, just time.
