Last year, we cut down and replaced all the decrepit large old trees on our property, and on our second house across the street. These trees had begun to crack the driveways and slab foundations of both houses, and were shedding large branches at an alarming rate. Most were live oaks, but there was a large pear tree, large Crepe Myrtle, and a couple others. So down they came.
We replaced them all, and then some. We planted a Lace Bark Elm, a couple Crepe Myrtles, a couple Thundercloud Plums, a couple Rosebuds, Autumn Blaze Maple, & an Eagleston Holly.
After all the very warm weather we have had, it appears all are healthy and are budding.
