This book was written by the moderators of the Remote, Austere, Wilderness and Third World Medicine forum.

3rd edition, some 12 years in the making. The book aims to equip preppers & survivalists with the basic medical knowledge to succeed in the event of a large-scale, long-term disaster.

A new author team that once again spans 3 continents – North America, Europe, and Down Under (Australia and associated areas): two doctors, a remote practice RN, a Physician’s Assistant, a Biomedical Technician, a veterinarian and a Paramedic/RN. The last edition was published atapproximately 212 pages. This latest work comprises an estimated 606 pages of new, updated or expanded material.

This edition also greatly expands the use of illustrations, most of them in color. It includes a drug monograph appendix, information on maintaining and servicing medical equipment, austere mental health care, and much, much more.

There are a lot of good downloads available.
