I recall that night well. Watched weather radar in that area moving in on him.
Saw stories tonight on how FEMA has totally dropped the ball on those folks. But it wasn't full of illegals or loaded with minorities
The most striking thing I remember, were them "good-ol' Kentucky-boys" taking up arms and laying down the law that there would be NO LOOTING!:waiting:
The news media was astounded, to say the least

"Do you have an ID with an address close to here? Then leave!"
 
I can honestly say I had never sat in front of my computer watching a tornado's path for hours and hours before ... until one was heading directly at Phideaux. That was a scary night for me.
It was one really big, mean bastid :mad: :
