I recall that night well. Watched weather radar in that area moving in on him.
Saw stories tonight on how FEMA has totally dropped the ball on those folks. But it wasn't full of illegals or loaded with minorities

The most striking thing I remember, were them "good-ol' Kentucky-boys" taking up arms and laying down the law that there would be NO LOOTING!
The news media was astounded, to say the least
"Do you have an ID with an address close to here? Then leave!"
This was a lite year for nado's. But even on bad nights long track tornadoes are rare.

I can honestly say I had never sat in front of my computer watching a tornado's path for hours and hours before ... until one was heading directly at Phideaux. That was a scary night for me.

Prayers were answered when the tornado missed Jim. Hope he is doing well. We miss him.
I had a conversation with Jim 2 or 3 weeks ago. He said they are doing fine. Just busy. And he was starting to decorate for Christmas.
