Anyone have some good ideas for what to do with them besides the compost??? Must be easy & simple.

I got a bunch of mandarin oranges for super cheap that I'm going to can but wanted to do something else with the peels.

I also have a bunch of apples destined for sauce and those peels & cores will become ACV.......but orange peels???

Just realized I didn't mention what to do with the powder. You can use them as flavoring in cooking/baking, like you would orange or lemon zest. Or you could add them to vinegar in a spray bottle for a scented household cleaner.

Another great idea for the cleaner. And yep on the flavorings, I was way ahead of you on that one. :)

Orange extract, orange peel powder for cooking, orange vinegar for cleaning (white vinegar and soak the peels then strain and use)

Sometimes we put them down the garbage disposal to freshen it up.
