Well, I'd like to think its BS, but the way the world is turning godz know for sure. I do know that the casing on those meat sticks I buy is some kind of plastic, you can smell it if you toast one.
I could totally see the rice being some artificial BS, Bill Gates & co have been trying to shove manufactured (vs grown) food down our throats for a long time. Yesterday at the grocery store, my wife pointed out that lots of produce doesn't smell like food - and now we try and get only items that smell like food. It was amazing - she handed me an orange that had no smell at all - it was bizarre, the whole bin of them had no smell - while another variety smelled like oranges...
Just another reason to grow as much of your own food as possible!
