I recently received an OV broad beam headlamp as a gift. A friend of my wife tried to get me to buy one of these and when I didn't she bought one for me. It runs a 210º beam and I thought that 300 lumens would be too weak, I was wrong. Whether working under the hood of my car, blowing snow off the drive, or working on a project on the workbench it casts a proper light without the shadows that I'm used to with a headlamp. All in all I'd say it is the best headlamp that I've ever owned.

Not prepper related but I really love these speakers, especially for $100-120.

Connect them to your computer, TV, cell phone... it doesn't matter. Sound quality is incredible for this size and cost speaker.
I already have 3 sets running in the house and if/when I need more speakers, I'll probably go with more of these.

I've been wanting a new headlamp. Just placed my Amazon order.
The one I have is a cheap Harbor Freight model. It works but it's not that great. The light always seem to be in the wrong area and I'm constantly bobbing my head around to see.
This could turn into a very useful thread. Thanks for starting it.
