Reverse rotation

I have a electrical motor that rotates in The wrong direction I wish it to

Is changing rotation as simple as swapping the wires ?

Can you post a pic of the motor and plug? If the motor has a diagram plate and spec plate those also.

If it’s a three phase AC motor then this is the basic diagram.

Loooks like a typical capacitor start single phase motor. Some are designed to change directions by switching two wires around under the cover (not the 120VAC line wires from the wall). Others can be taken apart and rewired. Here's an explanation. I didn't read through it but it looks correct at a glance.

The 2 wires on the top of the screwdriver
Are for the coil on the opposite end
the 2 on the bottom are for this side

Then yes, that one is built (factory) to be reversable. You should be able to switch the wires from one of the coils (going off memory so you may need to verify my correctness) and it should reverse.

The black wire.
It is run differently than the white wire
It comes into the motor and is bolted to the lug, (see image)
Then it is run to the coil
Then the return from the coil attaches

Is the white wire the one I should swapB?(or the black?)

Yes, one of the only things I can make out on the nameplate is 1 phase.
