Am neither for or against abortion as I agree with other comments that teaching young ladies and gentlemen about safe s** practices is the best way of preventing mistakes part of witch is ensuring that the young gentlemen understand that if a young lady says no it fully & completely means no and any man who would even think of raping a woman is nothing more than a coward and should be delt with as such :m4:
 
I was another pre Roe vs Wade (1962) and was a whoops for my divorced mom. She is still living and is still a feminist thru and thru. She was very angry she could not have an abortion. I was passed off as "adopted". I am very anti abortion, obviously, and our grown (liberal) kids know better than to have that discussion with me.
So I'm sure riots will happen in the major cities over this, especially with the weather getting better. I do believe this should go to the states, and the feds should stay out of it. So the states would be split, obviously, some allowing it, some not. So the riots would be in the cities of the red states next. Right?
 
I figure they'll single out Texas for some of their 'fun and games' civil unrest in the streets. We're probably the most armed state so they know it could get messy here, which is their goal. Or get 'messy' with their hired trouble-makers to blame on us. I've always personally thought the snow/ice devastation of Feb. 2021 was geoengineerd by the DS to 1) trial a grid down on a small scale first, knowing their upcoming plans for the nation and 2) they hate all those 'stupid' (Greuber's name for all of us sheeple) gun-totin' red necks.

This is just another example of trying to get people worked up into a frenzy. I am pro life and see this as the right step to make but on the left they will start the protesting and rioting again. First it was BLM then the stupid plandemic, it's just one more way to cause a separation of the masses.

What is interesting is the timing. The decision would have come out in June some time anyway. Why "leak"?

I think they will use it as an excuse to ram stuff through Congress before the Democrats get spanked in the elections in November. For instance, get rid of the filibuster and pack the Supreme Court as well as make some new grabs for The People's freedoms.

He probably won't have too much difficulty finding 10 not so socially conservative Republicans to vote with him.
 
I am not sure how the left actually thinks this is what Conservatives would want, but this is what they are pushing onto their audience today. I think it was day before yesterday they were trying to say that if Roe v Wade got overturned it would lead into LBGQ, or whatever they call themselves. kids not allowed into public class rooms. This is just insane! The Left will always push their far left agendas. . .

Oh for Pete's sake. There will be dozens of "organizations" funded by liberal donations out there happy to pay for a woman to get on a plane or bus, pay for room and board so that she can get an abortion in a State that allows it.

Yep, just look at Amazon willing to pay their employees $4000 to cross the line for an abortion. . . It's very sad. Using abortion as a normal birth control should have never been accepted, but here we are.

I actually took the time this evening to watch the 'Noncompliant' video Chris Hayes, Constitutional Attorney, former military intelligence, recommended in her interview re-linked herewith that I shared earlier in this thread. All I can say is WOW! This woman very effectively drives the point home with the most insightful, impactful argument that our Constitution is NOT fluid or open to the whim of convenient political "interpretation". It should be required viewing in every high school and college government course in America. Some schools no longer even require government for graduation, instead making it an 'elective' course. We were certainly saddened when we learned that change had occurred in the high school my husband taught World History at for 32 years and where I taught as well. Although it is 1hr. 23 minutes long, her full presentation will move you to the end.

I don't know what they crying for? Close your legs or go on vacation to another state that allows it.

There was a discussion once about abortion...a con-abortionist asked a pro-abortionist: there is a mother who is pregnant, she is a prostitute, she already has 6 children, five are undernourished, two are blind and another one is seriously handicapped, she herself is suffering from hepatitis and sexual disease...SHOULD SHE HAVE AN ABORTION??

Back to the discussion, the last decision of aborting a child lies with the woman involved in connection with the man involved. (although he is not carrying the child, he has a right to be in on the decision). The rest of the world has nothing to say. Those who create their own RIGHT to decide who can or cannot decide to abort, have no right to decide the future of other persons.
I am personally against abortion, even tho, I took my own daughter to have one and still feel bad about it, Her life was in danger after the birth of her first child and all signs pointed to kidney failure and further danger to her, JUST LIKE HER OWN MOTHER, my wife had the same problems after two children. Terrible choice, terrible decision and terrible thoughts that I must one day stand before my God and hope for forgiveness. My choice also to fight against other persons in war, doing their job to kill me, or doing my job to kill them...ANYBODY CAN KILL, only a great person can make the decision to SAVE A LIFE. I tip my hat to those who decide to have a baby no matter what condition or health problems come from the birth...live free, Gary

Another option how about just close your legs if not how about a condom. Makes those hard decisions a little easier. I mean you already got six kids that you can't take care of the first thing that pops in your head should not be "Hey I'm gonna have another maybe this one can take care of itself." How about you work on yourself first.
