I did mention smoking in the article but did not say much about it.
I know most of you likely know more than me about many of these things. I write the articles just to get people thinking about possibilities then they can do their own research.

Grandma used to store chunked meat in fat in crocks in the basement. I still have those crocks. She was born in 1900.

The crocks at my grandparents ranch were stolen when Grandpa had a heart attack and they moved to town.
