Edgar Winter was highly talented. I like both those songs very much.

I met both of them in Atlanta .One night a few of us left work at Lakewood GM Assembly Plant for late night club in downtown ,Jennings Rose Room. As they were about to close here comes a stretch limo with the Winter Brothers and band. So we all got locked inside and had the band all to ourselves. Nice guys. They had left a concert in Atlanta. Atlanta was very popular with bands i nthe 60s and 70s.

Here is Roy,

Hubby and I thought these guys were stalking us, we moved to Myrtle beach, there they were, back to Atlanta they are there too, then back to Jacksonville yep there too. I dance to them when they were performing live at teen dances in the 1960s and again as a granny in the 90s .

This is a good slice of Dire Straits with Eric Clapton playing...Sultans of Swing.
You get a shiver in the dark,
It's a raining in the park but meantime-
South of the river you stop and you hold everything
A band is blowing Dixie, double four time
You feel alright when you hear the music ring
