My wife sent me to the basement to find out what that thumping sound was. It was just a tom turkey fighting with his image in the basement window.

I only have Cardinal's. I hate those POS birds. Slam into the house and car glass all day long. I've got enough sh!t to deal with. Don't need bird poop on my house and car glass as well.

I don't think so. Today, the plate glass window still stands and we see no sign of the turkey. Of course, we did have 8" of snow accumulation when we got up this morning.

He's a peaking Tom. So far he is only walking around on the front porch. The sliding door on our rear porch looks directly into our bedroom!
I had something go bump in the day today. My oldest female dachshund started coming through the doggie door with a morning dove in her mouth. It got away & flew around some before hiding between our tv cabinet & the wall. I got a fishing net (not really, it's just a cheep copy I used to clean the tops of rain barrels) & got him in it. I pinched off the top & took him outside where I was happy to see him fly off.
And the crazy thing is that about 6 months ago we had a squirrel wonder in through the doggie door. That took us 2 days to get him out of the house. WTH!

If you're not going to eat that Tom, you need to get him a mirror outside. He's looking at his reflection, thinking it's a girlfriend. I have a big mirror outside for the guinea fowl. They are very vain.
