The Sooner State is burning up! We got up to 113 in some places! My car said 114 at 4:30 this afternoon! I’m struggling to keep up with watering my decorative yard plants a fruit trees alive. We have 3 or 4 more days before it starts coming down.
    How about y’all ?

BP, this seems like mid to late August in our area. One spark and we have a runaway grass fire! I’m watering something almost every day. Hopefully, the powers that be won’t impose a watering ban.
Our humidity is 26% just enough to feel miserable.

I have seen on the Global warming Channel (formally known as the National Geographic Channel) that because of climate change there will be more weather this year than in the past.

Been nice all week. Low to mid 80s during the day, low 60s and high 50s at night. pleasant humidity., no rain (that comes next week, as the crops requested).

Nope! we are not having any weather here in SE Washington today. Skies are clear, high temp expected to reach 83F, light winds with a repeat of the same tomorrow.
The two counties, one in Washington and the other in Oregon, are under fire watches so the range is closed. I may have to result to fishing to enjoy myself.

Mid 90s here again today humidity into the upper 70% range. But we are expecting servre Thunder storms overnight and a better than 70% chance of rain thru Tuesday. 40% or better for all of next week. Temps in the 80's all week to.
We really need the rain and the break in the heat will be nice to.

Brown skies and muddy humidity over here.

In the 80s but no wind or air movement at all so feels like you are breathing through a hot wet towel.
9 days and it will be cool fresh northern Michigan air!

Y'all be careful with the thunder storms. A friend of ours burries his sister in law tomorrow. She was hit by lightening this week. Went to feed the animals before the storm hit and.......

A friend of mine was hit while she was on the telephone. Her hearing aid saved her life. Make sure that your land lines have surge protectors on them. It could save your life or the life of someone you love.

I have also been hit by lightning inside a house after the bolt bounced off a pool and into the kitchen I was standing in and wouldn't recommend it as a fun experience at all as my hair was frazzled and I spoke backwards for a good 5 minutes.

Today in the mountain cottage it was 0 0c in the morning and 17 0c during the day and tomorrow is going to be -4 oc with a maximum of 19 oc during the day yep I think it will be a bit chilly tomorrow but we have the fire going. At this rate we are going to have to cut more firewood before the end of winter to get us through as we have had the fire going so much compared to last winter.

68% humidity and I'm dyin..... My allergies have had me up since about 3am and all I have to look forward to is a day at the in-laws. I'm tired and don't want the "obligatory" speech on how we should get rid of the animals and move to the city like normal people. I'm tired, stressed and just don't want to hear it.

We have had some rain, too, but mostly late afternoon it looks dark out and pretends to rain, then it just spits a little.

After seeing Florida burning with wildfires I don't complain about rain much anymore. Everywhere was smoky and hot.

We had some big storms roll across the state yesterday. Our area got hit last night. We were lucky as we had no real damage. Did get 2.76" of rain out of it.

Well tomorrow we are going to return to weather. The temp will jump from 86 today to 101F tomorrow (Sunday). High temps and low winds will rule for the entire week.
If I don't find a place to shoot my guns I make have to start shooting jaywalkers or bicyclists who don't stop at stop signs. This is serious stuff. They closed down the entire range because of fire danger. I told the chief range safety officer it wouldn't tak me long to sight in my AR because I had some tracer rounds so I could see where I was hitting...;)
    I think he knew I was joking...:rolleyes::oops:
