Chicken Makhani (Indian buttered chicken) with riced cauliflower.

Final 3rd of pork roast. Gonna make bbq pork sandwiches, baked potatoes and steamed broccoli

Black eyed peas with turkey sausage, celery, onions, garlic and a jalapeno. Brown rice and making corn bread.

Also made chocolate hummus which turned out great--kind of like that hazel nut spread. I used agave syrup instead of maple (using what I have)

Overcast sky, a chill in the air... Chili of course! I made a big pot and had some for dinner with pie for dessert.

Chicken, garlic, onion, tomatos, cream of chicken soup and spaghetti. One pot meal and it was good

Dinner: Fried apples and cabbage. Breakfast was crustless asparagus pie with a side of bacon.

Chicken with barbeque sauce, green beans, fettucine alfredo, cantaloupe, and a salad.
The fettucine was a food storage item. Have tons.

We're having leftover stuffed peppers and the rest of the bread.
I'll freeze the last 2 peppers and we'll have them in a week or two maybe.

"Pizza Burger" I was gonna have a side salad, but my salad has sadly turned brown and wilted.

We had fried ham and biscuits with raspberry jam and a cold glass of milk.

Pulled some roasted turkey out of the freezer and made a turkey pot pie.

My wife makes chicken pot pie with rotisserie chicken from Costco or Walmart.
It's really good and easy to make. She cheats and uses store bought pie crust.

I slow cooked a very big brisket I had in the freezer that I bought at restaurant supply. Froze half. Seven of us for dinner, and still a lot left for tomorrow dinner. Had mashed potatoes, gravy, carrots, and fresh baked bread for sides. Out of desserts tonight, better make something for tomorrow.

At home we are now on a 2 day run of eating leftovers and food that will likely expire in the near future.

At work several us brought in slow cookers full of chili, a roaster full of hot dogs, a pile of buns, a few pans of cornbread, and a ton of Powerade.

Today is leek and potato soup with warm crusty bread to go with it
I'm using smoked sausage this time. Last time was leftover Christmas ham pieces
I saved half the sausage link to make red beans and rice once the soup is finished

Still clearing out leftovers. Will probably have some summer sausage, cheese, and raw veggies with dip.

Pork roast slow cooked in oven with chunky potatoes, carrots,broccoli, quartered portabella mushrooms,onion,celery,bay leaf, salt and pepper. The pork roast was fork tender, vegetables simmered to perfection. Hot rolls too.
Mighty fine eating for the next several days.
