Well Christmas lunch was glorious and I don’t have room for my icy cold mango.
The lamb souvlaki wrap was stunning on warm authentic Turkish bread.
One was enough to fill me to the brim.
I washed it down with a sparkling ginger lemonade.

Today, we just had a chicken salad sandwich and cookies. I am making a veggie stir fry with egg rolls for dinner tomorrow. We are rarely traditional!

Christmas dinner will be grilled wild hog, baked beans, potato salad, macaroni salad, cottage cheese, fried eggplant, with apple pie, slice of Swiss cheese and a scoop of French Vanilla ice cream for dessert.
Christmas Eve dinner: smoked turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy, creamed corn, green bean casserole, dinner rolls, rice pudding, and blueberry pie with ice cream...
Oh yeah: scotcheroos and kringla to nibble on before and after the meal...

Going to lunch at my BIL's, so I have no idea, just bringing tin of homemade cookies. Dinner will be the veggie stir fry with egg rolls.
I'm baking ( really just heating it up) that free spiral ham I got. Roasted white and sweet potatoes, green beans and the rest of the fresh cranberry relish I made for Thanksgiving. Hubby's crescent rolls lol

Christmas Dinner will consist of Turkey, Spiral Cut Ham, Two Gravies, Mashed Potatoes, Stuffing, Corn and Fresh Green Beans. We have a can of whole berry cranberry sauce for those who partake.
Invited guests include my son and his wife (haven't celebrated Christmas with my son for 14 years). So excited!

We are having mealoaf, pintos,greens ,cornbread. Homemade scratch chocolate cake.
I was going to make this on New Years Eve, but it now on the menu for tonight. Deutsches fest! Grilled German sausage, spatzle, kraut, rotkohl, and of course lots of sweet treats. We make this meal perhaps twice a year to honor my deeply German grandmother.

A big plate of leftovers and a roast beast sandwich on the side. Two kinds of pie... apple and pecan. And apple crumb cake to choose from. Maybe I'll have a small piece of all three. Haven't decided yet!

Last night I made a batch of wings and had a salad with them. Tonight will be a roast beast sandwich and fries, cherry pie for dessert.

I had my Sunday morning fry up but in the fry pan instead of the air fryer.
UUUGGHHHH...
My stomach is so unhappy atm.
If past proves present I'll be in pain for most of the day so any plans I had have been shelved
and now I'm just laying on the couch miserable.
I can't cope with this much fat in one hit.

Chili spaghetti, it's a Cincinnati thing.
The wife made dinner tonight. It was a casserole combining shredded chicken with chopped veggies (onion, red pepper, broccoli, cauliflower) and cheese. It was pretty good.
Black eyed peas, mashed turnips and broccoli. Heaps for dessert.

I thawed out chili and heated it up and made some garlic bread to go with it
I grew up eating that but we had pasta with it to stretch it out because my brothers ate like hogs lol
Wish my Wife would make dishes like that, but throw in broccoli and cauliflower and her nose wrinkles, lol.
I baking some fish and roasting some potatoes and sweet potatoes and steamed broccoli today for supper
