I could watch it, and I did. I strongly dislike it. What was the other movie showing in the background? Shawshank Redemption? I was just connecting with a guy I knew from high school and he is scared. I wonder what my parents would say about all this stuff.
The church part though...my church has been like hey this is one of our absolute rights to be able to gather together in the faith. We're doing it. So in my area we meet every week for Sunday worship, with masks on.

Good for you, Patch. :great: To me that has been the most alarming part of this whole mess: The Government telling people they CANNOT go to church. In the United States of America? Are you kidding me? I don't know which is worse; the government saying it, or people complying with it?

In WW2 we were fighting a real threat unlike now.

I didn't say it's not real. I just do not believe it's as big a threat as it's being made out to be.
You can be a good little subject and do as you are told. I choose to be a free citizen.
For some reason, I don't see you and I ever being warm and fuzzy friends so save yourself some time and aggravation and add my name to your ignore list.
That's all I have to say about that.

You can be believe it is not a big threat, or you can be an ostrich, bury your head in the sand, and pretend it's not real. That will surely keep your friends and family safe. Way to go, PO1!
 
I had no problem seeing it. Can't say I disagree about much of anything they said. People have just rolled over and given in, in most cases without saying a word. Hard to believe from what has been a free people. Being herded now like sheep to the slaughter.
Just makes me think back to Bill Gates statement, people didn't submit quickly and easily enough. Just wait until the next event, it'll be much worse. They'll just lay down and give up then.

This is true. Americans were convinced to put their shoulder to the wheel and build stuff.
You notice this time around, it's all about what you should not do, what you cannot do, what you cannot see, what you cannot post, where you cannot go, what you cannot say?

This is far different than telling the country to build tanks and guns like our lives depend on it.

As a matter of fact, the long sentence I posted above was exactly what jews in Germany heard before they were loaded up on trains.

Lol. No reason to call you out. Not going either way. No vaccine and no camp for me. Maybe if it were an all girl camp, I could die happy.

On second thought, never ending PMS and honey do lists? Give me the shot, I'll die from that... lol
 
Backlash's avatar is a Perched Eagle with 3 chevrons. This is a US Navy enlisted sleeve rank insignia. It lets everyone know the wearer is Petty Officer 1st Class which is sometimes shortened on paperwork to - PO1 or E-6.

The small symbol in between the Perched Eagle and the Chevrons signifies that the wearer is an Aviation Electronics Technician (AT). Its called a Rating Badge.
