Started early today and went on a job site to measure all the bathrooms, for which I'll be doing the decorating. I was hesitant at first to take the project but I don't regret it now.
Then I have a couple of classes and this evening, I'll be working on some invoices and finishing a design this evening.

My MIL had a slow heartbeat. They sent her home with a 'flight-data-recorder" and during the night, it was getting down to 30. For everybody else, this means one beat every full 2 seconds: "beat, Mississippi, Mississippi, beat"
They put a pacemaker in her and it very rarely has to fire.
She did say that one night she was awakened with a musical ping sound. ~ding,,,,~ding. I knew exactly what that was.
The good news is, they can connect wirelessly to it and retrieve all of your info for months and know everything.

The only bad news: when her time comes, someone will have to turn it off because IT WILL NEVER let her pulse rate drop below 35.
Mine is also wifi. Mine is set for a low of 40bps. It fired Saturday at 40 and took over my heartbeat. I've had it in my chest for 8 years. Most likely the only reason I'm not already worm food.
The cardio electrophysiologist reset it in Feb to 150 bpm on the high end and twice in last 3 months it stopped tachycardia.
Today seems my heart has settled in at 50 bpm. I feel better.

Sooooo today I'll be resting and staying in outta the heat, as much as I want to be outside doing projects.

Hope everybody has a great day.

Jim

Been busy, it's hot here too and no rain. Pasture is starting to look bad. We bought 2 goat bucks today. Got vehicle maintenance done and went to the only Chinese restaurant left within like 50 miles. It was an all you can eat lunch buffet and....sucked to be honest. I can make much better Chinese food. It reminded me why going out to eat is such a waste of money. There was one place I liked but it closed down.
I am sitting inside trying to cool down, made me a banana smoothie with lots of ice in it. Just got done cutting down a bunch of branches, and weeds for the goats and threw it over the fence. Its probably all gone now. I usually take them free ranging but this year we didn't put a fence around the gardens and I dont know if I can keep them out . They have to go past the gardens to get to the woods.
Garden looks good despite no rain, I water it. It actually looks better then when we get tons of rain like last year and everything gets fungus on it and rots and the weeds grow sky high. Goats are healthier also, no worms, no hoof rot.

Today was day one of three with temps above 90 degrees. So I took to indoor projects.

I mounted 4 fire extinguishers on the main floor such that an extinguisher is no more than one room away.

I then restored the framing in The Hobbit hole that I had removed to allow installing the duct work. On that note 2 people noticed the AC working better besides just me and my wishful thinking.

Then I started the boring stuff. Going through the township ordinance to be able to get approval on a shed The Princess wants me to put up. Between my brother and myself, we can fill a good sized shed.

Tomorrow I will be continuing that effort and catching up on the other changes they have made since the last time I read it. Seems they now have included sections on solar panels.

Hey @Neb , I would be interested in what they said about solar panels, that is one location I was thinking about using to set up for emergency power here. Note, today we had a power outage it was long enough to make me start to wonder about.... but my USP's did their job and my work computer and the internet stayed up, wife's stuff stayed on, but everything else went dark. Went to a store and all the meat and prepared food was covered and off limits (I think it got too warm), all I needed was 2 lemons and dry goods for something the wife forgot she needed last week.... We're good...

Pickup up tree debris from the yards (again). Twenty years ago when i was young, building in a woods seemed like a good idea, not such much now.
Thought about mowing.
Working on a prop for the next competition, a roulette wheel. Looks like I can build 100% with scrap materials I have laying around. Years back I got financially burned helping a club move to a new range. Club got it all built and then the property owner said "Thank you, good bye! Now I donate time and very little money (different range, different club).
Thought about mowing.
Carry some of the wife's "product" upstairs. Done it so many times I could be a professional mover!

Went downtown and cleaned a little AirBnB house we have.
Home Depot.
Lunch.
Nap.
Wired a new 20A circuit for the bath so the missus could have a make-up mirror, electric toothbrush and all that stuff..........
Next is a quick workout, followed by shower and beer.

Dad and I are still looking for him a new place to live.
Now he's decided maybe he will move to the next town over.
Some place him and mom haven't lived.
So we went looking at places.
My sons wants me to move closer to one of them if he moves away.
We'll see, maybe out of town from this town.
Dishes are done.
Laundry is done.
Watching TV.
Slept in today got up at 0830 hours.
That's late for me cause I normally get up 0630 hours.
Air was humid, heavy today.
Tuesday, oldest grand daughter Estelle turns 4 years old.
Baby Reign turns 1 in August.
Dad and I will go look at something else in the morning.

I have wondered about the possibility of you and your dad sharing a place. There must be a reason and I or we do not have to know it, but since you are both looking for places, it could be a possibility.

Good morning! Already walked. Getting ready to feed and walk dogs.
Next shoot eBay photos.
Make jello and pudding for desserts.
Put a little epsom salts around roses that I cut back yesterday.
Clean laundry room, kitchen window.
Make a few business calls.
Mostly inside stuff today!

98 F, Dew point is 77F, not fit for going outside. Drove to Kroger and returned the wrong salad dressing(They were out of what she wanted), drove to the next Kroger and bought the right stuff. Cut my hair, thats the big plans for today.

Holy cow. I was thinking maybe Arizona.
I don't know how to attach a radar on this computer, but there appears to be a 1 in 1000 yr. occurrence with a huge fireball (looking on radar) over northern WA and the Vancouver BC area. This is certainly not the norm especially for June.
