@Neb We have quite a few Scotts around here so see kilts on a semi regular basis (typically warmer weather though). The school where my children went, the mascot was the Tiger-Scott. It's very small and at some former time actually merged two schools so kept both mascots. It is now a tiger in a kilt playing bag-pipes. They also have a pipe and drum band.
I like the last pix "today".

And the cap? Does it stay on all day? Story is that my great grandfather's hat stayed on all day and when he got ready for bed it was his hat and pipe that were the last things he took off.

Yep.
As soon as I get outta bed or surgery.

It's my security blanket .
You will never see me without it, and like my dad I still don't have gray hair , just the beard.

My grandkids wouldn't know me without it.
