Yes. It is Dartmouth college's mountain. I basically make snow for rich ivy league kids. But it is fun!Is that a ski resort?
Your nuts!! It's 95 degrees in march, the snow won't stick! If I had that machine my entire yard would be covered in white from Nov 1st until March 31st every single year!
Well yes and no. Whenever we have the right temps and proper humidity. Lastnight temps were around 24 but the humidity was high so we made some snow but it was wet and heavy. Tonight same temps but lower humidity so we should make some good snow. We run from November to February or whenever the snow making money runs out.Is this something you have to do daily?
Yup. We are blowing snow on Thomas right now. Heading in to start again shortly. Lucky for me i have the day off from my other gig! Im dragging butt right now. Waiting for my fourth wind.Is this it?
If that was true i wouldn't have a job. "Snowmaker" because "miracle worker" isn't a job description.Making snow...that just ain't right! Mother Nature makes enough of it!

I prefer the great white wizard but that sounds racist and im sure will offend someone. ...How about Father Nature? ;D

Ya but only on the trails we are blowing on. You can talk to someone but your yelling a little. Doesn't bother the wildlife one bit. I see deer, bobcats, coyotes, about every critter while blowing snow. They don't even seem phased by it. The actual compressors are fairly quite. We own one that is older than dirt but works great. The othet 3 we rent and they are brand new units. They give us the new ones so we can test them out for them because we run them hard. After a season with us any bugs will be worked out. With all of those compressors running I think it would be fairly noisy process?
