I saw lightning off to the northeast @Pearl when I was out this evening.
Tomorrow we’ll get clobbered with rain maybe.
Otherwise, a beautiful spring evening. The kind where you can ride around with the windows open.
Rain moving up from the south in the next hour! Hopefully no bad storms!

No eclipse for me... It was mid level 100% overcast and drizzle all day Monday.. I did see the eclipse from different places on last nights news.. Quite interesting.. At noon today partly cloudy, calm, 44F... Today I have a cleaning appointment at dentist in an hour.. Tylenol on board and ready to go..

Pretty much had all the seasons today, spent as much time changing layers as I did doing stuff.

They got some serious stuff scheduled for us tomorrow, complete with free side-orders of tornados, hail, and winds over 50mph:

I think @Pearl outdid herself this time . Of course we ain't greedy, so we're gonna share it with MS and AL 😜.

It's raining.... No bad stuff so far. The storms lost daylight and heat then weakened. Only rain expected before noon. Tomorrow afternoon it might get dicey.. 3+ inches of rain is predicted in the next 24hrs. Rained an inch last night, just a warm up for this show.

I was not to be disappointed...
I was up until 3 this morning and it hadn't started to rain yet.
When I got up at 6 for my morning pee, we had 2" of rain .
Loudest lightning-booms I have heard in 10 years.
One sounded like it was right next door, worried that it had broken windows.
All quiet now.:)

I went to bed around 0230. The storms had died down for the night. Sunny this morning but clouds have been creeping in the last half hour.

Big rain will be here in about 2hrs. Looks like the bad storms (nadoes) will stay south of Montgomery.

Mississippi is drowning at the moment. Looks like frodo and snappy have gotten a reprieve, for a few hours anyway.

I was gonna end my previous post with: "It's somebody else's turn now", but didn't.
Maybe we were lucky that ours was short-lived:).
I was impressed with it, and I am not easily impressed.

The sun has been peeking out for us now.

This system is still centered in arkansas, saw it tonight. Supposed to get more rain before dawn then again in the afternoon.

I only got about 1.5" this afternoon. No big winds here but trees down all around the central part of the state. Wind gusts 40 plus and the ground is saturated with almost 3" of rain in past 48hrs. Doesn't take a lot to blow some trees over.

I missed the eclipse. I think it was raining. Rained all night and then all day. The dog, Princess, was all up in my grill because she was afraid of the thunder. Kept jumping on me and wanting me to hold her. When I went into the living room she hid under Mom's desk. Power went out for a few hours and it has been blinking on and off throughout the day. I don't know what the temperature was, but it was too warm for me.

No rain over night. Got up to 66 degrees and HUMID. Rain started about 8, most likely go all day. Had some lightning in the area and expect some decent storms later on
Just what are "Decent Storms" where You bee at...?!?
