Had some homemade meatballs (ground beef and ground lamb mix), some Brussels sprouts, a homemade pumpkin cream cheese muffin, and a pint of bulletproof coffee. :) (sugar free, keto) Dang were those meatballs good, cooked in some homemade marinara sauce with some mozzarella and smoked gouda shredded on top... Hey, we like to eat well. :)

The meatballs with all the cheeses and sauce sounds delectable.

Old Bay seasoning is a staple in my kitchen. Didn't have any yesterday.
Shrimp steamed with water and vinegar. Seasoning: 1 tsp each cayenne, salt, smoked paprika, 1/2 tsp each of cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, cardamom, black pepper. What I was missing: celery seed, ground mustard, allspice, and bay leaf. It was fine without.

I'm thinking a nice venison roast, a garden salad with two kinds of greens, onions, tomatoes, celery, and avocado. I'll add some steamed broccoli on the side.

I don't like fish. I've just been following husband's precise diet he's been on for a month and a half. He writes the menu for what he wants for breakfast, lunch, and dinner every single day. So today: breakfast eggs white omelet with onion, cheese, Portobello mushrooms, side of salsa. Lunch: Red bean chili (homemade), apple, tangerine, leftover pork loin from last night, fresh steamed green beans from last night, raw almonds, 4 cheese sticks. Dinner: Talapia, split pea soup with vegetables, steamed zucchini. I don't eat the fish when it's on the menu, and I'm tired of Dr Dean Ornish's red bean chili and vegetarian chili. Not a fan of split pea, but I'll eat a bit. My dinner will be some turkey that I just took out of the oven, zucchini, and some crusty French bread. Same for granddaughter. Grandson will eat the fish.
