Cane sugar is good. I worked in Nicaragua and learned that tidbit.

Nicaraguan rum is good too, mixed with their Coca Cola (made with cane sugar), it is ambrosia.

When I was drinking RC Cola there was Green River available but it was the wrong color for drinking. I sat at the bar and watched the guy behind the counter (wasn't a soda jerk but the owner) put together a layered drink of RC, Green River, Rootbeer, and and a Grape Nehi. It looked pretty with the sun shining through it but I wasn't going to drink it.

If I could go back to any time it would be the 70s.
I spent all of the 70s in the Navy and I had a really, really good time.
I married the skinny little hippy girl that lived across the street. Life was fun and I took it all for granted.
I cannot believe it's been 50 years and I have got old so fast.
