I lost contact with the Gregersens a few years back and Im wondering if any of the older members might know anything about them?
Any one know how Steven Gregersen and his wife are doing?

Was that MMM @mosquitomountainman and Gypsy Sue? I don't know what they are up to either. She quit posting a few years ago. He has been around on rare occasions. He was last here in Oct 23.

Yes, Mosquito Mountain Man and Gypsy Sue. For a while, he kept his blog active. They traveled around the U.S., meeting various people from PS, before this forum started. I think that @Grimm one of the people they met up with. Gypsy Sue and Dave Armstrong, who was also on PS, collaborated to write at least one book, maybe more. He also wrote a few books.

Susan's books, some in collaboration with Dave Armstrong. Okay, she has authored more books than I have listed. She is pretty prolific and knowledgeable about preparedness, and I think he is as well. They were some of the first people I remember seeing on PS.

About the author
Steven Gregersen lives with his wife on a 20 acre (almost!) self-sufficient, off-grid homestead in the mountains of northwestern Montana. His early years were spent in Kansas where he worked summers on his grandparent's farm. He enrolled in the auto-mechanic's course at the local vocational school while still attending High School. Upon graduating he served three years in the USMC. After that he pursued a career as an auto mechanic, eventually owning his own auto repair business.
Steven has been a life-long student. He grew up hunting and fishing and, as an adult, added trapping, ammunition reloading, gardening, animal husbandry, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, photography and other skills. He earned his college degree in his late 30s and served as a pastor and Christian camp director. His primary source of income at this time is writing. He's had articles published in Fur-Fish-Game magazine, Traditional Bowhunter magazine, Primitive Archer magazine, Backwoodsman magazine, Back Home magazine, Backwoods Home magazine, and several others. He currently has two books in print and is working on a third.
His writing is not based on research but on his experiences in life. He's a "hands on" type of guy. When there's a new skill to be learned he's never content to just read or watch a Youtube video. He has to do it himself. When he writes of homesteading, shooting, reloading, hunting or any other topic you can bet that he's done it himself and is sharing that experience with you.

Most of my books have started with real people in mind. It makes me bristle when a reviewer says "Oh, there can't be anyone like that", because there really is! We all have different frames of reference to draw from but we shouldn't discount what other people know. After all, they say truth is stranger than fiction!
I have a hard time keeping my books serious. I can't stop myself from having my characters make quips to each other, or other ways of lightening a scene. I guess that's my style and you might as well expect it when you read my books! I also have a hard time sitting still and being patient while I write. When I get an idea I want to type it all down as fast as I can, get it edited, and share it with everyone. I'm learning to slow down and look it over and see where I can expand on it, and where expanding would make the book boring to read. I enjoy writing and hope to keep entertaining people with my books for years to come.

Yeah I actually meet with them as well on that tour along with a couple people from PS in Ohio. Their blog stopped in about 2018 unless they have another one up I don't know about.
I talked my wife and her girlfriend into taking an introduction to firearms course. They handed out Steve’s book as part of the course materials.

It's a really good book. He sent me an autographed copy after I reviewed his reloading book. His wife included books as well. He even sent me a recurve bow. He was very generous. I just hope they are doing well.

I purchased the poverty prepping book and past it around to friends and family. It got read at least a half a dozen times before I lost track of it.
Steve is the master of entry level how to books. I have a handful of them but a complete set would be a valuable addition to any prepper library.
