Started listening to podcasts in the last several years and now I barely listed to talk radio or music anymore on my 35 minute commutes to and from work.

My favorite podcasts are:

- Fieldcraft Survival
- Skillset magazine
- The Joe Gardner Show
- Viking Tactical
- Modern Homesteading Project
- the MFCEO
- Sasquatch Chronicles

All are free. Tons of different genres. My drives are way better these days. If you spend a lot of time commuting, give them a shot.

I can't find any 'podcast' button on my phone:

It's got guns though:D.

LoL! You can always listen from an iPad, tablet, or computer.
Had a really nice 52-minute commute to work everyday for 18 years. Listened to every every NPR broadcast complete.
My 5th truck, loaded with 4800 pounds of pure magic
I appear, made miracles happen, then disappear.

Hung up my wrenches on 09-14-18 and parked it:boom:
They are still looking for another savant to drive it:rolleyes:
I watch youtube now. Love seeing old engines start up. Could watch it for hours:D.
'Free at last, thank God I am FREE at last!

You need me, I'll be under a tree in a rocking-chair listening to 200-year-old engines cough to life on my Kindle.
Hopefully they won't find me before I flee the state. I can make them thousands or save them thousands with the stroke of my pen and my creds.

I’m pretty sure you can get podcasts on a Kindle, So here are a couple titles that may interest you...

Heavy Equipment Radio Podcast

Heavy Construction Equipment podcast

I'll check those out.
The Kindle only receives Wi-Fi though.
So going down the road I doubt it is going to get anything from my 2002 GMC truck or my 'state-of-the-art' phone:D.
It's ok. I have zero friends on Facebook (not on there either) so they won't be mad.
I do have radio.
Since I already live a 'post-apocalypse' life, I won't go into withdrawal when a phone stops working.
I loved seeing the young people when they showed up at the camp house for Zombie Hunt and discovered it was a 'cell-free' zone.
It was like you had yanked their umbilical cord loose.

They were as non-functional as newborns. We had to teach some how to talk without using their thumbs.
Nice to see new humans emerge in a day or two.
I don't think some people realize how dependent they are on their phones.

Found an outstanding firearms related podcast titled "Center Mass":

http://toppodcast.com/podcast_feeds/center-mass-skillset-radio/

The podcast is hosted by Fred Mastison, who is, among other things, a professional firearms instructor, seasoned firearms author, and advanced martial arts instructor. His bio is located here:

This was the episode that really hooked me. It's an outstanding discussion with Tim Forshey, a gun rights lawyer, firearms/CC instructor, and amateur competitive shooter. Learn more about him here:

http://tforsheylaw.com

He brings an excellent perspective to MANY firearms related legal issues from a guy who is absolutely qualified to talk to it. The episode is available for free download (podcasts are pretty much all free content) here:

Also, another episode I really enjoyed is titled "All things Glock:..."

http://toppodcast.com/show-detail/?showId=3518287

So if you're looking for something to listen to on a long drive or sitting out on the porch enjoying a stogie and a beer, these podcasts are pretty interesting and very well executed.
