Today we commemorate the OUTSTANDING men and women of the Australian and New Zealand defense forces.
We celebrate and remember those who sacrificed everything for out freedom.
Ties with Australia, New Zealand and the United States of America run deep and we have been allies in every theater of war in the last 100 years.
Australian and American, shoulder to shoulder.
When one fell the other was there to lift his brother warrior up.
In mutual respect and mutual courage our nations forged a safer world for our families and future generations.
With tears of overwhelming pride and respect I am humbled by their sacrifice.
May they never grow old.
