I keep one of these in my truck and one in the house. Universal charging or data cable. USB 2 at one end, can connect 4 types of devices for charging at the other.

I don't have to search for a specific charging cable.

You need to have a wife like mine.
Every outlet, in every room, has a charging cord hanging off it.
If I was to 'lose' all my charging cords, I would need a hay-baler to take them all.
