Poor little guy... I had a snapping turtle when I was a kid. Kept him in cow trough all summer and fed him minnows I'd catch in the creek. He was a grumpy cuss! And a little dangerous, hard to see sometimes. I set him free in the swamp that fall.
And this is why you never turn your back on cattle... even if they are yours.

Brahma's are known for that.
It's amazing how quick it can happen, been there a few times. The cow above gave a warning, the way she was standing. The other cows were moving naturally, not her. Then there was little head dip about 1 second before launching.
