The planet is covered by 70% water. It's an energy/cost problem not a limited resource problem.

Same here. I have a well in city limits .... but not used. My 'to do list' includes activating it.I have a well.
I have blueprints for a 4" bucket here somewhere real handy to have if you don't have a hand pump and the power is out.
