So A/C, air conditioning? I would love to know more about heat pumps.
a heat pump is basically the same as an air conditioner with the exception or a reversing valve that changes the flow of refrigerant. A standard ac unit absorbs heat inside you home and discharges it outside via the outdoor condenser, a heat pump absorbs heat from the ambient outdoor temp and brings it indoors via the indoor evaporator coil and fan.
