I just got a new truck and was telling my kids all the different vehicles I had, I drove some POS cars from when I got my DL in 1986

1978 Chevy K1500 - my dad's that I drove to high school when I got my DL
1972 Dodge Dart - First car I bought for $300 - drove my senior year of high school and took to college
1978 Buick Regal - $900 after the Dart fell apart
1980 Chevy LUV truck - stripped parts off the regal (almost made my $900 back) and traded the front bumper for the truck - college
1984 Ford EXP - $1000 after truck died - finished college and a few months after graduation
[got married]
1992 Chevy S10 - bought new but traded in EXP - gave to my brother in 1999
1994 Chevy Cavalier - bought new - gave to same brother in 2001 after he was hit by a drunk driver and totaled the S10
1999 Chevy Astro van - bought new, because kids
2001 Chevy Silverado - bought new, sold in 2003 after I got company cars
1971 Corvette - bought in 2002, still have it
2003 Ford Taurus - company vehicle
2005 Pontiac Montana - company vehicle replaced Taurus - but I totaled it
2007 Chrystler Pacifica - company vehicle replaced the Montana, bought it from the bastards when they laid me off - still have it
2006 Pontiac Montana - bought used in 2009, replaced the Astro Van
2013 Honda CRV - bought new, kid took over the Pacifica - still have it
2014 Toyota Sienna - bought new - traded in the '06 Montana - still have it
2017 Toyota Tacoma - bought new, 2 kids with DLs now share the Pacifica and CRV

I'm in the 5 vehicle club. The Corvette and Sienna are garaged, the Pacifica, CRV and Tacoma live outside

My vehicles when I was young:
Honda 50cc minibike (off road use)
Honda 70cc minibike (off road use)
Yamaha 125 Enduro motorcycle (off road use)
'56 Chevy Belaire (what a great first car, could hold 3 dozen friends, probably still running for somebody, somewhere)
'72 Chevy Nova (my high school car, oil filter misaligned once, oil pressure idiot light came on, I replaced engine myself)
'78 Volkswagon Scirocco (first car bought new from a dealer, died of old age and miles)

Got married, family cars:
'85 Chevy K-Blazer (ate two engines, then caught on fire and melted)
'89 Dodge Grand Caravan (started burning oil heavily, gave away to a Dr. friend, who gave to his undocumented mistress, probably hauling illegal immigrants now)
'91 Ford E-150 Van Starcraft Conversion (still got it, our spare car)
'95 Ford Explorer (totaled by a drunk driver who hit it)
'00 Ford Mustang convertible (still got it, our summer car)
'06 Ford F-150 crew cab (still got it, our general purpose and winter car)
(Looks like we're due for a new car, been a while since we bought one! The Fords seem to be lasting us longer than the Chevys and Dodge)

Cars we've recently inherited from relatives, and need to drag off to the junkyard:
'68 Oldsmobile 98 (gets about 7 mpg, with premium fuel, definitely an old "land yacht")
'89 (?) Ford Crown Victoria (was probably a good car in it's day, but its day has long since passed)

Cars we helped finance for the kids:
Mazda 3 (totaled by a drunk driver who hit it, after having been to the body shop about 25 times when kids were new drivers)
Ford Escape (been a wonderful car, still running strong, despite their lesser reputation)
Subaru Forester (son ran it out of oil, replaced engine, going great now, good car)

I remember my first car was a 1960 Dodge Phoenix. It has that push buttons for automatic transmission. After that a lot of mechanic's special I got cheap. I'm a mechanic by trade and lots of them were broke down. The owners didn't want to fix em. Not worth it they say.

Among those were a Ford Mustang, Pontiac Tempest, Pontiac Bonneville, Plymouth Fury III, Buick Skylark, all in the 60s. Some were real Junkers I didn't keep long and considered a loss.

One time I put together an International pickup in a scrap yard (I worked there) and drove it out. I think it was a 73 and I put it together with all the good parts I can find in there. Good strong 304 V8 and a sleeper because of an Torqueflite automatic transmission to a standard shift rearend. WHEEE! :p

Now I drive a 2003 Ford Taurus and I have my Taurus for 9 years so far. Before that I had an 87 Cavalier wagon for 10 years. Solid engine and tranny but car falling apart around it.

My insurance company LOVES me. I have owned over 50 different driving vehicles (includes motorcycles) in my over 50 years of driving history.

My first road worthy vehicle I owned was a Red, 1966 Chevrolet El Camino. 327 c.i. with 4 on the floor! I paid for it myself, working in the grocery store after school every day. It was only a year old when I bought, and my parents had to co-sign the loan for me, because I was under 18.

My current vehicles are a New Red Nissan Frontier, and a beater 1988 White Chevy 2500 long bed.

I LIKE TRUCKS!

My bust on the galaxie engine, real hard thinking and I believe it was a 390. Also I forgot to list a car I have now ..... a 2008 dodge advenger, my wifes car. I am sure there are some more I forgot, matter of fact I know there is but wont go back and edit my list ..... to lazy.

‘86 Ford Ranger 4x4- second and last new vehicle.
‘91 Jeep Cherokee.
‘94 Chevy 1500 Regular cab.
‘97 Ford F-150 Extended cab.
‘04 Ford F-150 Extended cab.
‘09 Ford F-150 Crewcab. This I still drive today.

My first vehicle was a 1968 Oldsmobile W31. Second was a 1976 GMC pickup.
Replaced it with a 1986 Dodge Ram. Bought a 1986 Chevrolet, the model escapes me, but it was a black and silver sports car. I wrecked it.
Bought a 1989 GMC van to replace it.
1996 Chevrolet Corsica and a 1996 Taurus wagon.
1998 Pontiac Grand am, which caught fire on the wife. Got the recall notice that very afternoon.
Replaced it with a 2001 Ford Taurus.

2001 Dodge Grand Caravan. Totaled when a tractor trailer went through a parking lot and took it out with several others.
Replaced it with a 2003 Caravan which I still have, plus a 2006 Scion Xb and a 2008 Kia Sorrento. I still have the last two as well.

Also inherited my dads 1992 Chevrolet pick up. I am in the process of restoring it.

In the market for another vehicle, probably as soon as winter weather is over. Have not decided on which one yet.

And I almost forgot. I had a 1981 Plymouth Volare with Roadrunner trim and a 1976 Honda 350-4 And a 1980 Suzuki 550 GSL in the mix as well.

Can't even begin to say them all. First car was a totally built 63 sky blue Chevy Impala with a 327 Corvette motor. My brother and his friends dad built it. Since that probably had 30 cars. I've been in sales almost 30 year's and always drove my own cars. Had at least 10 before this job. Drove at least 3 of them 250-300 thousand miles each.

I do remember most models though. Another impala, a 64 Chevy, Dodge Monaco, a 66 Chevy, Jeep Cherokee, Ford Thunderbird, Buick LeSabre,Buick ? , Grand am, olds Cutlass, Ford explorer, Dodge ?, Dodge Dakota, Mercury sable, Chevy pickup, Nissan exterra, toyata tundra, Subaru outback, and a few in between I just don't remember what they were......
