We moved from a 5 acre homestead , 20 years ago,
Loved that place,
Now am on 25 acres....and done got too old for it.

We now , need 1/2 acre.

I wish the land baron who bought the 40 acre farm next to me would sell me the farm land. Bad enough he used political ties to keep the auction from being announced publicly and bought the place for $120K. But to just sit there and let the farm house rot for two years now is criminal.

Got more than my share of Deer, Turkey, Rabbit, Squirrel, Coyote, Bobcat, Fox, and Raccoon...some say cougar.
Standing about 50 ft out my back door, trying bibs for the first time...
I like em.

saved every overtime penny i made
came home, built my place by myself,

Biscuit, Someone tossed her out , I scooped her up, and now we are buddies
2nd day I had her in the truck with me I stopped off at the postoffice
in less than 5 minutes she ate my phone and charger
